Gotham Gym is a high-profile gym seeking a Group Fitness Director. We are looking for a driven, organized, high energy superstar to join our community. We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience and ability to travel.
Requirements:
- Fluent in English
- Excellent management and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively generate and oversee large group fitness classes
- Excellent customer service skills with ability to provide genuine interactions and engagement with clients
Responsibilities:
- Manage group boxing classes schedule
- Ensure classes are filled
- Ensure classes start on time
- Recruit and train instructors to teach Gotham Gym branded classes
- Schedule instructors
- Ensure instructors arrive prior to class start time to allow time to greet all clients and help acclimate new participants
- Ensure instructors choose appropriate music with high energy and regularly updated and modified playlists
- Actively participate in training sessions, designated meetings and special events
